Food for Thought

Food for thought: For conversation and encouraging purposes

COTR Family,

I do not know it all, and I am still learning, but what I do know is that I like to share what I learn. If you can receive it, it may help you as it is helping me.

Moving forward will sometimes take learning to embrace times when God is longing to share things with you. We must recognize those times and press into them. Some call it being in a flow moment or state. It’s when you are so locked into something you are doing, like prayer, listening to Christian music, and God is sharing with you, or you are sharing with Him your heart, and that moment has your 100% attention, and time flies by.

Be prepared, have a recorder or a notepad and pen handy, because you are expecting to hear from God and you want to remember what was spoken to you. That’s what I call flow, and they happen when you are open to hearing, have goals set, and you are fully present in the moment, and not in a hurry. A flow is when information comes at you in a steady stream.

Why is this important? Because learning to give God 100% attention can be another key that unlocks your prayer life, knowing when God is speaking, and other things like when to take that next step towards your victory you’ve been believing God for. I’m sure I don’t know all the possible things we can achieve, but I do know we can win. It has changed my personal views on so many areas. Things that I used to view as important are not; they are sometimes blockers.

What are your personal thoughts about this share? Think about your relationship with your God. Are you satisfied with where you are in Christ? Are you ready to grow or take that next step? You are the one to decide your next step no one else. Take a step of faith and move forward family.

(1Ch 16:11 AMP)  Seek the Lord and His strength; yearn for and seek His face and to be in His presence continually!

(Act 17:27 MSG)  so we could seek after God, and not just grope around in the dark but actually find him. He doesn’t play hide-and-seek with us. He’s not remote; he’s near.
