Be About Our Father’s Business

Jesus and his parents was returning home, and in doing so [They did like some parents do today - not paying attention to their child’s whereabouts -vs 43], some, [trying to allow their child to explore], or by just simply not paying attention to them, can lose where the child is. Jesus fell behind in their journey, and the parents did not know where Jesus was, they thought that Jesus was with some of his other kin-folks or friends (vs-44).

So, they started looking for him.

What! They did not find him for 3 days? WOW.

They found him in the Temple (Church), sitting in the midst of the Doctors of the Law. JESUS WAS IN THE CHURCH for 3 DAYS.

Now, I am not advocating that we all need to be in the Church (physically) for 3 days – but it does suggest that or focus, and DRIVE should be what our Father God wants and has mandated us to do.

{Wouldn’t you like to know what Jesus said, what He taught while there in the temple?}.

Whatever it was all of the Doctors were astonished (vs-47).

Many people (Christians), want to know and understand their purpose in life. And most who are seeking the answer, are looking too deeply at a high-ranking position of some kind like one of the 5-Fold offices, and gifts/ administrations/ and operations,

However, our #1 purpose [FOR EVERY BELIEVER] is to win the lost. Not Everyone can be an Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor or Teacher - but every Child of God can witness.

{Mat. 28:18-20 / Mk. 16:15-20}

We have a “DECREE” [a binding command] from Jesus (as mentioned in the previous verses in Mathew and Mark).

THESE VERSES EXPLAINE IT IN DETAIL:

·        (Mat 28:18 KJV)  And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

·        (Mat 28:19 KJV)  Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

·        (Mat 28:20 KJV)  Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

·        (Mar 16:15 KJV)  And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

AMPLIFIED SAYS:

o   (Mar 16:15 AMP)  And He said to them, Go into all the world and preach and publish openly the good news (the Gospel) to every creature [of the whole human race].

·        (Mar 16:16 KJV)  He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

·        (Mar 16:17 KJV)  And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

THIS IS HOW WE CAN BE ABOUT OUR FATHER’S BUSINESS – [By Witnessing – Preaching the Gospel, and by Teaching them to observe everything that he COMMANDED us to do.]

So if you are not busy about the Fathers Business, then let us get busy, if you are already busy, keep it going.
